RX 480 Mining Settings

Disclaimer:
The RX 480 Mining Settings in this article will work for all models. The main difference between models and GPU to GPU is the Silicon Lottery. This means your GPU may perform worst or better based on your luck in the hardware.
Please make sure to watch our overclocking basics and benefits video to avoid any unnecessary damage and risk to your system and most importantly, do NOT mine with stock settings! (Click Here)

Frequent Questions:
RX 480 Mining Profitability?
The mining profitability that will be provided is based on data from WhatToMine.com, it is a good estimate to what you will make but remember that these numbers will always change! User our overclocks below to achieve ideal results for performance and efficiency.
The RX 480 8GB Mining profitability in different algorithms can be found in this Link.
How To Turn On Compute Mode?
Any RX 4xx or 5xx series cards will require you to set on Compute Mode so you can go from 5-15 MH/s to 25-31 MH/s.
So after installing your AMD Radeon Drivers, visit your Radeon Software settings and set your RX cards on compute mode. This will improve your hashrate drastically. You can set compute mode through the AMD Radeon Settings.
BIOS Modding
RX 480 BIOS Modding will increase your hashrate from 25 MH/s to 30-31 MH/s based on how lucky you get with your card.
More Information
Power Draw: Wattage draw for AMD Cards are not accurate in the software so you have to use a wall Watt meter to be able to measure proper power draw.
Overclocks: Not all cards can run at the same settings so if your unlucky and can’t run the settings provided then increment your memory clock down by 25 or increment your voltage up by 5 until you find a stable point.
Drivers: Try different drivers if you keep having troubles with instability after trying to troubleshoot your overclocks.
Overclocks
If two numbers are provided, first will be for Windows the second will be for a Linux-based Mining OS. N/A = leave blank.
